Wars:

Canada:
There are quite a few wars that Canada has fought in, but not as many as its fellow North American countries. Canada was involved in the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1990, as well as the Korean War. Also, the wars of 1812 and 1837 are on Canada's list. Alongside these are World Wars, the Canadian Battlefield Memorials Restoration Project, The Second Boer war, and they even played a part in the Russian Civil War. United States:
America has fought in many wars, many of which we won. American Revolution was a very early war in the history of America. The War of 1812 & the Indian Wars both happened during the 1800's, the Indian wars occurring in 1817-1898. The Mexican War, the Civil War, and the Spanish-American War were finished by the turn of the century, and World War I (The Great War) kicked things off as the next big war since 1899. World War II followed soon thereafter, which was followed up by the Korean War* in 1950. The Vietnam War happened in 1975, and then the Grenada Invasion in 1983. Persian Gulf War lasted from 1990-1991. And finally comes the current war with Iraq; we are fighting for Iraqi freedom.(**http://wiki.answers.com/Q/List_in_order_all_wars_in_american_history**)

"We have engaged in several undeclared war, such as the undeclared Naval War with France, under Adams, and the War with the Barbary Pirates under Jefferson."

Trade:
Canada:
Canada’s trade is very plentiful, and includes many countries. Their main export to the United States is fresh water, among other things like lumber, finished autos, steel, logs, newsprint, pipe, auto frames, grain, chemicals, tar, and more (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmpymYVyMHaRltbx5wQ.4RwjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20061228111533AAXKgOu). Some imports of theirs are finished autos, auto parts, oil and oil products, wood products, building materials, and more.( http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmpymYVyMHaRltbx5wQ.4RwjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20061228111533AAXKgOu)

United States:
The United States trades with quite a few countries, but these are the top ten countries that the USA trades with in order from first to last: Canada, China, Mexico, Japan, Federal Republic of Germany, United Kingdom, South Korea, France, Brazil, and The Netherlands. (http://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/top/dst/current/balance.html) The United States has a lot of exports, and just as many imports. As said on (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmK6CAj.pwO1R5.eMUwBszEjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20080713205837AAN8ENc)%20”I|http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmK6CAj.pwO1R5.eMUwBszEjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20080713205837AAN8ENc)
“I don’t know what America exports… But I can tell you why we export oil. US oil from some fields is exported because we simply don’t have the refineries to refine the heavy crude that is located in the US. This type of crude oil takes special oil refineries to filter out the impurities. We don’t have these refineries in the US because we have not built a refinery in 30 years and we have lost over half of our refineries in the last 15 years due to the fact they were not maintained and most blew up. As a result we don’t have the refining capacity or the special tech required to refine low grade heavy crude oils. So we export it to countries that are willing to build those refineries and have passed the US on a tech scale.”
As for importing, since we don’t manufacture much, we import most things; many of this along the lines of clothing, electronics, & other nick-knacks, mostly from China & Middle Eastern countries.

Some of these exports are: Crude Oil, Car parts and accessories, Video equipment, Passenger cars, Electrical apparatus & parts, Telecommunications equipment, Engines & parts, Computers, and Miscellaneous household goods. (http://internationaltrade.suite101.com/article.cfm/mexicos_top_exports_imports) Some imports are commodities: metalworking machines, steel mill products, agricultural machinery, electrical equipment, car parts for assembly, repair parts for motor vehicles, aircraft, and aircraft parts. *Technically, the Korean War hasn't ended. We are still in a "cease fire mode", even though it has been more almost sixty years. (**http://www.vetshome.com/korean_cease_fire.htm**)
